Description

Short title: Earl of Chesterfield v Earl of Kingston-upon-Hull.

Plaintiff(s): Philip Earl of Chesterfield.

Defendant(s): Robert Earl of Kingston-upon-Hull, John Nevill, William Childers, Robert Marples.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Stoke Bardolph, and the demesnes and wastes belonging, and particularly a parcel of wastes called "Stonyholme." Metes and bounds, etc. Touching the "cutting and lopping" of willows in Stonyholme aforesaid.

County/place: Nottinghamshire.

Date of commission: 3 July 1639.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 October 1639 at Nottingham.
