Description

Short title: Poole v Hawker.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Poole, His Majesty's fee farmer of the manor of Cirencester.

Defendant(s): Edmund Hawker and his wife Anne, Edward Litton and his sister Mary, George Small and his wife Ann, Thomas Litton and his wife Alice.

Subject of depositions: Manor and seven hundreds of Cirencester belonging to the late monastery of Cirencester, and granted by Edward VI. to Sir Anthony Kingston, kt Touching plaintiff's right and title to treasure trove in manor.

County/place: Gloucestershire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1638.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 22 January 1639 at Cirencester.
