Description

Short title: Whitney v Whitney.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Whitney.

Defendant(s): Eustace Whitney, Howell Phillip, Lewis Thomas, Thomas Lewis, Thomas Lawrence, Phillip Lawrence, Roger Symonds.

Subject of depositions: Lands called "Tire Major, or chantry lands" in the township of Clifford, in Hereford, lately belonging to Francis Throgmorton (attainted of high treason), when the lands escheated to the Crown.

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 25 November 1636.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 31 January 1637 at Hereford.
