Description

Short title: Banks v Wilson.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Banks, kt, by the relation of Sir Richard Sandford, kt.

Defendant(s): Richard Wilson, Oliver Thompson, Thomas Lancaster, John Davis, and his wife Ann, Jane Bowsher, widow, Grace Harrison, widow.

Subject of depositions: Barony of Barton ( "and of Martindale and Patterdale within the same "), parcel of the possessions of Leonard Dacre, attainted of high treason, part whereof was granted by Chas I to Sir George Dalston. Customs of barony. Survey.

County/place: Westmorland.

Date of commission: 6 July 1636.
