Description

Short title: Mayor of Doncaster v Bateman.

Plaintiff(s): The mayor, aldermen, and burgesses of the town of Doncaster (Yorkshire).

Defendant(s): John Bateman, Ralph Haigne.

Subject of depositions: Town of Doncaster (Yorkshire). Touching water corn-mills there leased by the town to the defendants, and allowed by defendants to fall into decay.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 20 June 1632.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 1 October 1632 at Doncaster.
