Description

Short title: Davy v Lister.

Plaintiff(s): Mary Davy, widow, guardian of Katherine Davy, Mary Davy, and Margaret Davy, daughters of Thomas Davy, deceased, and said Mary.

Defendant(s): Sir John Lister, kt, Henry Alford, Martin Jefferson, Gabriel Kitchin, Charles Collinges, Richard Milner, Huntington Ratsey.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Sudcoats. Touching right and title to two beast gates called Oxeland, in Sudcoates, and a farm there called "The Woodhouse" and tithes of Sutton Rectory.

County/place: Kingston-on-Hull.

Date of commission: 29 June 1631.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 1 October 1631 at Kingston-on-Hull.
