Description

Short title: Lampen v Bate.

Plaintiff(s): John Lampen.

Defendant(s): Edmond Bate.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Rillaton (Cornwall), parcel of the duchy of Cornwall, and mills there called "Rilla Mills" and the manor of Tremellon ( "now called Tremolleth "), and the manors of Rillaton Peveral, Rillaton Pengelly, etc. Custom of "suit and grist" to mills.

County/place: Cornwall.

Date of commission: 14 June 1630.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 November 1630 at Launceston.
