Description

Short title: Simpson v Heard.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Simpson, water bailiff of the liberties of the port town of Colchester.

Defendant(s): John Heard, Giles Wiggener.

Subject of depositions: Liberties and precincts upon the river Colne belonging to the town of Colchester (Essex). Metes and bounds. Fees for wharfage, taken by the water bailiff.

County/place: Essex?.

Date of commission: 28 November 1629.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 9 January 1630 at Colchester.
