Description

Short title: Williams v Williams.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Williams and his wife Margaret.

Defendant(s): Sir Thomas Williams, bart Hugh Lewis, clerk, Robert Edmond, William Thomas ap Jevan, Lewis ap William Jevan, Evan Thomas Gibbon, David ap John ap Jevan, John ap Rees.

Subject of depositions: Lands and tenements called "y Kay Mawr" (with a mill belonging) and "Tuthyn y bout vaen" in the township of Dinlley, and the mill of Bodelog on the river Gwrvai. Custom of "suit and grist" to Bodelog Mill.

County/place: Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1628.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 May 1628 at Carnarvon.
