Description

Short title: Walter v Bulkeley.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Walter, kt, Attorney General to Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.

Defendant(s): Sir Richard Bulkeley, the elder, kt, John Meredith.

Subject of depositions: Quarries of millstones in Penmon (Anglesea); whether the Prince of Wales is seised of all quarries of millstones in the principality of North Wales, in right of his principality? Touching the quantity and value of millstones, and what number conveyed to Ireland and South Wales. Whether defendants' places called "Hare Warren Park" and "y Maindy" were parcel of the priory of Penmon? Right and custom of freeholdors in Anglesea and Carnarvon to dig slate, stones, etc. [Lands called "Cochyllan" belonging to the Earl of Pembroke, and quarries of millstones in the commons of Rhosevawr and Bwlch Gwyn (Anglesea), are mentioned].
