Description

Short title: Thorpe v Woodcock.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Thorpe.

Defendant(s): Nicholas Woodcock, George Coe, Toby Askew.

Subject of depositions: Water corn-mills belonging to the manor of Kingscliff, leased by the Crown to Sir Thomas Howard. Custom of "suit and grist" to the mills. [Toby Houghton and Henry Standish, farmers of the mills, arementioned].

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 19 June 1616.
