Description

Short title: Rotheram v Fawcett.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Rotheram, Justinian Povey, William Court.

Defendant(s): George Fawcett.

Subject of depositions: Parcel of ground called Palath Croft, in Newbiggin, near the city of York. Arrears of reserved rents. [Edward Fawcett, late of York, alderman (defendant's father), Capt. Thomas Brickwell, John Atkinson, of Darlington (Durham), and Elizabeth, his wife, former occupiers of said grounds; lease of same at the suit of Sir Roger Ashton to Thomas Alford; and grant of same by Capt. Breckwell to Elizh. Nelson, are mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 23 June 1613.
