Description

Short title: Chamberlain v Nicholas.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Chamberlain, kt.

Defendant(s): Reginld. Nicholas, Thomas Nicholas, Henry Munden, Richard Benfield, Thomas Hedges, William Barnes, Thomas Court.

Subject of depositions: Sale of woods in a ground called Presbury Park, and in two other grounds in Presbury, called The Groves, under a commission out of the Exchequer about 3 James I and resistance made by plaintiffs to execution of same.

County/place: Gloucestershire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1612.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 April 1612 at Cheltenham.
