Description

Short title: Micklefield v Dolman.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Micklefield.

Defendant(s): Sir Robert Dolman, kt.

Subject of depositions: Free-rents by the tenants of the King's manor of Bishop's Wilton, and by those of Bolton, and alleged attempt of defendant to withdraw their suit and service frem the said manor. Encroachment on High Street of town of Bolton. Is defendant's house in Bolton, parcel of the late monastery of Thicked? Have courts leet, been held in Bolton in name of Thomas Dolman, defendant's father. Survey. [The names of William Micklefield, Richard Hessell, Robert Cooke, Edward Madesow, Mr Gascoigne, Mr Wyvell, Richard Strayker, of Gowthrope, Mr Sowthebie, and William Harrison, are mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1608.
