Description

Short title: Clarke v Nalton.

Plaintiff(s): Peter Clarke.

Defendant(s): Francis Nalton, clerk.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Walkington, the capital messuage there called Walkington Hall, Garth, the windmill, and 14 oxgangs of land. Grant of same by Ambros, late Earl of Warwick to Richard Sutton, and the accession to same of Sir Edward Hastings, Henry, late Earl of Huntingdon, Thomas Crompton, esquire, Thomas Makins, Gabriel Cowper, John Crompton, Sir Henry Carie, and plaintiff. Touching tithes payable for same to the rectory and parsonage of Walkington. Survey. [The names of Richard Markes, farmer of the rectory, Mr Foster, of Tadcaster, Mr Newcome, parson, James Nalton, and Hector Cowper, are mentioned].
