Description

Short title: Morris v Owen.

Plaintiff(s): Sir William Morris, kt.

Defendant(s): Roland Owen, William Maurice ap Robert.

Subject of depositions: Right to take up millestones in quarries on lands in Llangefni, purchased by Roland Owen of Sir Edward Herbert and Mary his wife, without paying rent for the same to the Crown. Customs ofmanor (and of manor of Bangor (Caernarfonshire) mentioned). [The names of Thomas ap Hoell ap Griffith, Thomas Vaughan, of Castellbylchwyr, Rees ap Hoell ap Robert, and Roland ap Rees ap Griffith, Hugh Bangor, Rytherch ap David, and Sir William Herbert, are mentioned].

County/place: Anglesea; Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1608.
