Description

Short title: Bulkeley v Holland.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Richard Bulkeley.

Defendant(s): Thomas Holland and others.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Ledwigan, and the injury done to the tenants by damming the River Geveny. Were the townships of Eskiviocke and Berow in the hundred of Menay (within Cors Tregay) meered from the township of Ledwigan, in the hundred of Maltgraith, by jury before the surveyor of North Wales, in presence of Sir Richard Bulkeley (plaintiff's father) then (50 years since) farmer of Ledwigan, to a special mark at the churchyard called Llwyn Tygai, etc; and whether till the meering the most part of the now meadows of Ledwigan was free commons for the tenants of Eskiviock and Berow? Survey.
