Description

Short title: Holmes v Gurnell.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Holmes.

Defendant(s): John Gurnell, Robert Davell.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands, called "The Great Ley Close ", "Becking Close ", "Townend Close" and "Reyner's Tenement" lying in Darleton (Nottinghamshire). Metes and bounds. Waste and spoil, etc. [A survey of lands in Darleton, made (under commission) by Mr Sanderson and others, about the year 31 Eliz, and the names of Simon Rayner, Ralph Gabitus, John Lees, Martin Smith, George Nevell, Paul Taylor, George Ward, Thomas Reyner, and Richard Reyner, are mentioned].

County/place: Nottinghamshire.

Date of commission: 25 November 1600.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 January 1601 at Tuxford.
