Description

Short title: Williams v Lloyd.

Plaintiff(s): William Williams, of Vaynol, farmer of Her Highness's native lands in the township of Dinorwick.

Defendant(s): David Lloyd ap Richard, Ellis ap John ap Rees Wyn, Thomas ap William Morgan.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands called "Tir Trehayarn" in the township of Dinorwick. [The names of John ap Jevan ap John and his wife Katherine, Rowland Griffith, "Webbe's patent" of grant of said township, Thomas Williams (plaintiff's father), Richard Griffith, Edward Gruffith, of Penrhyn, Richard ap William ap Llewellyn Goch, Sir William Herbert, of St Julian, and Sir Henry Bagnall [Bagginholt?], are mentioned].

County/place: Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1599.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 April 1599 at Bangor.
