Subject of depositions: Coal-pits in Cowpen and Bebsyde (Northumberland), of the yearly rent of 26s 8d leased by the Crown to Peter Delavale and Ambrose Dudley, and assigned by them to Henry Harbottle. Alleged deprival of plaintiff of lease of the coal-pits by the contrivance of defendant Delavale, by the collusion of his brother Clement, "Her Ma'tie's officer or bayliffe of Cowpen" by persuading the plaintiff not to pay his rent, "and so entitle her Ma'tie to a forfeiture of said lease ".
