Description

Short title: Lord Compton v Thuroke.

Plaintiff(s): William Lord Compton, Christopher Ward, and Francis Simpson, his tenants within the lordship of Leonard Burton.

Defendant(s): William Thuroke, Christopher Smith, Leonard Blesdall, Robert Milles.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Scotton and Brearton, the lordship of Leonard Burton, and a common called Burton Moor (Yorkshire). Right of common. Customs of manor. [Henry Lord Compton (father of plaintiff), and William Wentworth, chieflord of the town of Leonard Barton, are mentioned].
