Description

Short title: Ayresley v Thompson.

Plaintiff(s): William Ayresley.

Defendant(s): George Thompson, clerk, Robert Swinbancke, Charles Tennant, Thomas Phillips.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to six burgages or cottages in the parish of St Peter-in-the-Willows, in Walmegate Barr, in the city of York; whether willed by Agnes Mannersfor "superstitious uses "; whether granted by Her Majesty's Letters Patent about December, 33 Eliz, to William Tipper and Robert Daw; or whether the cottages were parcel of the possessions of the church of St Peter-in-the-Willows. Touching the union of the churches of St Peter-in-the-Willows and St Margaret, Yorkshire.
