Touching the office of "riding bailiff" filled by defendant; whether he proclaimed in three several markets at three several market days the "strays" (i.e.boars, cows, etc) taken by him, as by law required; and whether he appraised the "heriotts ", "felon's goods" taken by him, "and made presentment thereof at the next court holden" for said manor, as by law he was required to do. Whether the defendant struck Oliver Woodliffe (plaintiff's deputy) in open court. [The names and possessions of Humphrey Nicholas, late of Barking, and since of Fryeninge (Essex), Mr Walgrave, under-steward of the manor, Agnes Geator, wife of Henry Geator, of Dagenham (Essex), and Edward Savage, are mentioned].
