Description

Short title: Bull v Powlett.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Bull.

Defendant(s): Sir William Powlet, Earl of Wilts, Lord Marquis of Winchester.

Subject of depositions: Hamlets or townes of Stanley alias Stanleie, in the parish of Kenebanton alias Kimbolton, Huntingdonshire; the manor of Gaynes and the hamlets of Dillington and Pirrye, parcel of the same manor of Gaynes; and whether the same were late the inheritance of one Broughton, and now of Agnes Lady Marchioness of Winchester, as one of the co-heirs of said Broughton; and concerning a piece of pasture called Akeden alias Agden Green, near a wood called Westwood, parcel of same manor of Gaynes and Beachamsteed alias Beasitts alias Crofts, and Stowghton, priory of Stoneley or Stonelye or Stanleie or Stanley. Common of pasture on same Akeden Green.

County/place: Huntingdonshire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1582.
