Description

Short title: Carr v Foster.

Plaintiff(s): John Carr, Michael Stocke, Gilbert Errington, Thomas Swinborne, Roger Carnabie.

Defendant(s): Sir John Foster.

Subject of depositions: Lands, called Woodhall, and tithes, in the tenure of John Carr, in the parish of Warden, and Temple Threpwood, Whytehouse, Haught, and Marwoodefield, and Warmely and Warmely Hill, parcel of the priory of Hexham.

County/place: Northumberland.

Date of commission: 2 June 1581.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 September 1581 at Newcastle.
