Description

Short title: Queen v Thynne.

Plaintiff(s): The Queen.

Defendant(s): Sir John Thynne, Kt.

Subject of depositions: Parishes of Strete, Glaston, and Walton, and Sharpham Park, in one of the parishes, which was parcel of the demesnes of the monastery of Glaston, and manor of Glaston; also Pilton Park, Norwood Park, Wyrrall Park, parcel of the demesnes of the same monastery of Glaston.

County/place: Somerset.

Date of commission: 10 February 1579.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 April 1579 at Glaston.
