Description

Short title: Lawrence v Williams.

Plaintiff(s): Geffery Lawrence, Her Majesty farmer.

Defendant(s): Robert Williams, William Hall.

Subject of depositions: Two pighehills of land in the parish of St Peter Marten, Bedford, lately occupied by Robert Smythe, and one pasture in the parish of St Cuthbert, lately occupied by Robert Parradon and the Claypitts, and concealed lands belonging to the late monastery of Newnham.

County/place: Bedfordshire.

Date of commission: 1 February 1577.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 April 1577 at Bedford.
