Appellant: Thomas Wallace of St John's, New Brunswick, owner of the ship Oriental, and George McBride and others, merchants, owners of the cargo aboard the said ship. Respondent: John Fielden, James Fielden, Thomas Fielden, Daniel Campbell and William Cunliffe Pickersgill, all of Liverpool, merchants, legal holders of a bottomry bond upon the said ship, her cargo and freight. Subject: Bottomry. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
