Description

Faculty to all the archbishops of the realm of England that at the request of the king or his successors they may in accordance with a faculty granted by Innocent VIII. to the archbishop of Canterbury and the bishop of Durham absolve all those who have incurred ecclesiastical censures for sedition, just as if they had been named in the said pope's letters. Alias felicis . . . St. Peter's, Rome. Id. Jul., 3 Alexander VI.

Bulla with hemp string. Letters close directed to Henry [VII.] Copy of this bull, save that the faculty is granted to all archbishops and bishops of the realm of England, in SC 7/5/3.
