Ratification by Charles V. of a treaty concluded by Mercurius de Gattinara and two other ambassadors at Calais, 25 August, 1521, for a marriage between himself and the Princess Mary, and for a closer alliance with Henry VIII.; also of a supplementary clause, dated 26 August, providing for an increase in the dowry to be given with the Princess Mary in case of a son being born to Henry VIII. Brussels.
