Description (What the record is about)

Tripartite indenture between Ralph, Lord Sudeley, Treasurer, Robert Rolleston, keeper of the Great Wardrobe, the commissioners of Louis, Count Palatine, and Henry de Hay, witnessing that as soon as the Treasurer or Rolleston shall have caused 3,300 marks to be delivered to the said Henry, he will give them an acquittance for 3,500 marks sealed with Louis' seal, according to the form herein recited.
