Description

South Africa: 'No. 2. Sketch Map of Natal'. Map shows the position of tribes, rivers and principal towns. Reference table distinguishes 'aboriginal tribes', native peoples entering Natal between 1812 and 1843, and those entering after the colony had been established. Scale: 1 inch to 6 miles. Lithographed by Edward Weller, Red Lion Square. Print of enclosure number 4 in Lieutenant Governor Scott's despatch number 12 of 26 February 1864.
