Map showing the proposed route according to the Watford & Edgware Railway Bill presented in the Parliamentary Session of 1903 and its connections with the Charing Cross, Hampstead and Edgware lines (now the Northern Line of London Underground); also showing fourteen other existing, authorised and proposed railways (including underground railways) in north London, northern Middlesex and southern Hertfordshire. Key to colouring. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. [By] G F Burn and F H Cripps, Civil Engineers, 9 Great George Street, Westminste; lithographed by Robert J Cook & Hammond, 2-3 Tothill Street, Westminster. A manuscript label affixed to the cover bears the name of Dyson & Co, 10 Great George Street. [The route depicted was not built and the Watford & Edgware Railway was never operational.]
