Description

'Great Western Railway': outline map of England and Wales south of Manchester and west of London, showing railway lines and the distances of stations from London Paddington. Reference table to Great Western Railway and other lines. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Compass star. Lithographed by Thomas Kell & Son, 40 King Street, Covent Garden, 1894. Manuscript additions, in coloured ink, show the locations of the floods and landslips that occurred on 12-13 November 1894 (in red) and on 14-15 November 1894 (in blue).
