Forms of certificate used by the associate.
Contains material from the City of London Sessions. They are records of conviction and enrolments of certificates for exemption from parochial office, commonly known as 'Tyburn Tickets'. Such certificates were given to persons prosecuting certain felons to conviction under 10 & 11 Wm III, c 23. After 1818, 'Tyburn Tickets' were no longer transferable (58 Geo III, c 70), and their usefulness was considerably reduced; they were abolished in 1827 (7 Geo IV, c 64). These enrolments must include some of the last 'Tyburn Tickets' ever to have been issued. The enrolments also include the appointment of an inspector of corn returns at the Corn Exchange in 1818.
