Documents concerning the dispute as to the right of election of a prior of the cathedral priory of Winchester (Hampshire).
Copy of a letter patent of the sub-prior and convent of St. Swithun's cathedral priory, Winchester, presented at the Roman Curia by Andrew of London, prior of the same cathedral priory, by which the sub-prior and convent release him from all actions they have against him, due to his labours for the rights and liberties of their church, and confirming him as their canonically elected prior, in return for a revocation of his claims against them.
