Malta, Gozo. Four sheets: (1) Admiralty chart 194, corrected to 1898, with additional manuscript title 'Malta Record Plan of Victoria Lines and Howr. [Howitzer] Batteries Nos. 1 to 7'. Coloured manuscript additions indicate area covered by (2). Manuscript reference table to construction details. Signed by Staff Sergeant P E Gummer, Royal Engineers, 22 April 1901, Captain G Close, Royal Engineers, 27 April 1901, Captain H J Walker, Royal Engineers, 26 June 1901, Warrant Officer G Hales, Royal Engineers, 9 September 1901, and Colonel R M Ruck, Commanding Royal Engineer, 11 September 1901. (2) 'Survey of Malta'. Sheets 32, 33, 39-41, 44, 46-9, 56-9, showing Victoria Lines and location of Howitzer batteries. Sheet 41 Manuscript reference table. Scale: 1:2,500. Surveyed by the Royal Engineers, 1896. Zincographed and printed at the School of Military Engineering, Chatham, 1897 and 1899. Corrected 1898 and 1900. All signed as (1).
