Malta: Valletta: 'Malta. Castille Bastion, Middle Level. Emplacements for two 12 ton 9 inch M.L.R. Guns'. Three sheets: (1) top plan and site plan; (2) plans of left and right guns and of magazine, with a photograph; (3) sections. Table of construction details. Scale: site plan: 1:8,000; other plans: 1 inch to 10 feet. Compass indicator on site plan. All measured and drawn by Superintendent J Parkinson, Royal Engineers, 31 October 1878. Initialled by A O Green, 3 January 1879 and Lieutenant R Thompson, Royal Engineers, 15 January 1879. Signed by [Lieutenant Colonel] C E Cumberland, Royal Engineers, 15 January 1879.
