Middlesex: Westminster (now the London Borough of Westminster). Two plans of Wellington Barracks and the Royal Engineers Office in James Street. Reference tables to accommodation, paving, drainage, etc; item (1) lacks the specified colouring but item (2) is coloured; item (2) also bears an additional reference table to tanks. Photozincographed at the Topographical Department, War Office, under the direction of Major A C Cooke, Royal Engineers, 1861; (1) revised to May 1870, (2) corrected to November 1889 and (signed): Colonel R Athorpe, Commanding Royal Engineer, Home District, 3 December 1889. A coloured pencil inscription on item (1) states that the 1889 edition [i.e. item (2)] supersedes it. Pencilled notes to item (2).
