Description

Canada. 'A Light 6 pr. [pounder] Slay Carriage for Service on the Snow or Ice': one sheet of drawings of a gun sleigh intended for use in Quebec [City], Lower Canada (now in Canada); the drawing include details of shafts and the ammunition box. Reference table. Scale: 2 inches to 1 foot. Signed by Lieutenant Colonel Gother Mann, Commanding Royal Engineer, 6 July 1796. Endorsed: 'Deposited by Lt. Genl. Mann - 12th Decr. 1818'.
