Item (2) trimmed at the lower edge. Scale: 1 inch to about 1 league. Compass indicators. Surveyed by Michael Lane, 1772; engraved and published (by permission of the Admiralty) by Jefferys and Faden, 25 June 1773. Two insets: charts of harbours at Burin and Placentia, with a section of part of the latter. Scale: 3 inches to 1 league (Burin); 1 inch to about 0.85 miles (Placentia), 1 inch to 200 feet (section). Compass indicators. Insets surveyed by James Cook.
