Minorca (Menorca; now part of Spain): Mahón. 'Plan of Fort George... Shewing the Casemates [i.e. fortified chambers] that are at present known ...'. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed by Captain R D'Arcy, Royal Engineers, 5 December 1799. Fort George was apparently another name for the fortification usually called Saint Philip's Castle or Fort San Felipe.
