South Carolina: Letterbook of Despatches from Lt Col Balfour at Charlestown to Sir Henry Clinton, Lord Geo Germain, and to various military commanders. A volume of 52 numbered folios, and a couple of unnumbered blank folios, in marbled paper. (Described at item level).
On front cover is a label marked 'Dispatch Book commencing 1st Jany and ending 1st December 1781 inclusive.' Contents of numbered folios are all signed with the initials N B and dated at Charles Town.
