Plaintiffs: Richard Topclife esq of Somerby, Lincolnshire, steward bailiff keeper and overseer of the Queen's lands in Rylstone, Threshfield and Linton, Yorkshire, sometime parcel of the possessions of Richard Norton the elder.
Defendants: Geoffrey Wrybarr clerk, vicar of Long Preston, Christopher Symondson, William Lawson, Richard Hartley, Thomas Hawlton, John Whitaker, Francis Smythe, George Lyster, Gawen Harner and John Favell.
County: Yorkshire.
Subject: poaching [of deer] and assault in Rylstone Chase, forfeited to the Crown by Richard Norton the elder of Norton Conyers and Rylstone, attainted of high treason [for involvement in the Northern Rebellion].
