Description

John Ramsey (deceased c.1668) [case unidentified]: A collection of papers concerning John Ramsey and his estate, including deeds 1630-63; trading agreements 1647-59; bills for sale of ships and related papers 1643-65; bonds and indentures 1636-91; accounts 1629-64; and letters 1651-52. Two items found with this collection and included here may relate to separate cases: item 59, bond between John Rawkins of St Martin in the Fields and Sir Matthew Ingram of Chelsea on the one part, and Robert Lord of Westminster on the other, 1691; and item 100, lease by Sir Stephen Fox and Sir Christopher Wren to John Smalbore of two shops and vaults in Hungerford market, 1690. Item 101, which also concerns Wren and Hungerford market, was found in a later box and added here.
