Duplicate copies and extracts of letters and papers: mainly duplicate copies of correspondence with the commissaries, Matthew Prior, the Earl of Stair, and others involved with the work at Dunkirk, though a few letters in draft form are also included. Includes a duplicate copy of a colour wash plan of the town and old harbour of Dunkirk in 1730 (the original plan was removed from SP 76/4 to MPF 322 in 1959).
