Bills of Exchange Bill Ledgers The four classes, of which P.R.O. 10/286 - P.R.O. 10/289 are the surviving specimens, were removed from the Public Record Office to the Stationery Office for destruction in August 1923 on the advice from the Paymaster General's Office (28 April 1923) that they were scheduled records. For a printed list of them (to 1837) see Lists and Indexes, XLVI. 216 and 217. This specimen was formerly P.M.G. 29/12.
