The P'an-yu magistrate has been instructed to enquire into this attack on the party from Lowther Castle (Capt Harris), and the taipan is to produce the wounded foreigners for examination by the magistrate. Foreigners are to trade peaceably and not to create more trouble. (Dated: 9m 14d). 2 sheets.
