Description

Tithe map of Great Kelk (township in the parish of Foston), East Riding of Yorkshire. Shows open fields and baulk, field names, waterbodies, bridges. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. Map was 'Copied from an Old Plan' by W Shipton, land agent and surveyor, York.

With 1 altered apportionment map, dated 1848, at 1:4752, surveyed by Henry Scott, Oulston, near Easingwold; shows district after enclosure, with paths, ponds, inhabited buildings, fields, and field boundary ownership
