Shows forest and township boundaries, buildings (named), chapel of ease, field names, leasehold and copyhold land, field boundary ownership, glebe (poor land), hedge ownership, fences, field gates, plantations, woods (coloured), footpath and/or bridleway, named roads, waterbodies, antiquities (barrow). Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains; enlargements of detail at 1 inch to 1.5 chains [1:1188]. First class map. Construction lines shown. By James Saunders, Kirtlington, Oxfordshire. Map bears surveyor's note: 'Sept. 27th 1839. This sheet of paper has shrunk since the plotting of the work 42 links in 150 chains being 8.75 links in 30 chains which produces a difference of 42/45 of a pole in an acre. This addition has been made in the Quantities'
